Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig November 21, 1983) is an American actress best known for her roles in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television series Lost as well as Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace, originally from Worthington located in Ohio dropped out high school and moved to Los Angeles after her divorced parents. She was struggling to make ends meet when she got her first part in the acting world in the film Rachel's Room's leading character. The television film Murder in Greenwich that she appeared in, where she played a 15-year-old Martha Moxley earned her the nomination for the Young Artist Award. In 2004, Grace was cast as Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost in which she acted as a principal character for the initial two seasons winning an award called the Screen Actors Guild Award shared by the entire cast.
