Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig November 21, 1983) is an American actress best known for her roles in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television series Lost as well as Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace, originally from Worthington located in Ohio dropped out high school and moved to Los Angeles after her divorced parents. She was struggling to make ends meet when she got her first part in the acting world in the film Rachel's Room's leading character. The television film Murder in Greenwich that she appeared in, where she played a 15-year-old Martha Moxley earned her the nomination for the Young Artist Award. In 2004, Grace was cast as Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost in which she acted as a principal character for the initial two seasons winning an award called the Screen Actors Guild Award shared by the entire cast. Grace was keen to pursue film after playing opposite Tom Welling's character, The Fog, in 2005. The role she played was Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken the year 2008) as Suburban Girl as well as the Jane Austen Book Club. She reprised this role in Taken 2 (2013) and Taken 3 (2015). The actress also appeared in Alice in Malice in Wonderland which is the modern-day adaptation of the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to Shannon's character as Shannon in Lost for two more episodes, including the finale of the series. In 2013 she appears in the sixth season of Californication. She portrays Faith who's both an avid stargazer as well as a socialite. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her.
