Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) and Chris Watson (born in Paris). When she was a kid she was enrolled in her school, the Dragon School in Oxfordshire. Emma's goal was to be an actor. At the age of 6, she enrolled in the Oxford Stagecoach Theatre Arts branch in which she was taught classes on singing, acting, and dancing. By the age of ten she had performed and taken part in many Stagecoach productions and school plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the movie adaptation of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book was cast in the year 1999. Emma was initially discovered as a casting representative by her Oxford drama teacher. David Heyman, the producer of Harry Potter Harry Potter's Sorcerer's Stone, and Ron Weasley told Emma after 8 auditions, that she had been selected for the parts. The cast included Daniel Radcliffe Rupert Grint and Rupert Grint. The release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's debut on the screen in cinema. The movie broke all records on opening day and weekend sales, and it was the most-recorded 2001 movie. Critics were impressed with the film and its performance. The Daily Telegraph in Britain and the Daily Telegraph in America, widely read, called her performance commendable. Emma's performance was nominated and won five awards later for the movie.
